1. Feb,2013- Present – Medanta- The Medicity

Working as the ICU Manager for 190 bedded Critical Care Unit comprising of 7 ICUs.

Reporting to: The Medical Superintendent

Working as an Assistant Manager in the Medical Admin Department my role comprises of maintenance of

oversight in all specialised surgical and medical ICUs and to ensure smooth day to day functioning of the

ICUs. The job profile along with a role in operations requires active participation in initiation,

implementation and maintenance of Quality standards specific to accreditation bodies namely JCI and

NABH. The job also gave me an opportunity to be an active participant of the process of JCI accreditation

of the hospital. The role of an ICU manager also provided immense exposure to the Operation Theatres. In

addition to the regular Operations job, am also involved in Quality Improvement project directly under the

COO.

Also have managed a 53 bedded multi speciality ward overlooking and ensuring its smooth functioning.

Worked under the direct guidance and mentorship of the founder and Managing Director of the

organization. As a part of the start up team my job responsibility was vast and included involvement in

all core activities of the organization including the building of processes, Information Technology

backup, on site activities, data management, new business development etc. It provided a great learning

platform.
