Direct all procurement activities (11 buyers / subcontract specialists) to provide all materials, equipment and

services for each client project.

• Successfully established multiple "National Supply Agreements" with key material suppliers, which will result

in $750K annual savings.

• Established "material management / receiving" program that enables Tepsco to pay supplier invoices two to

three weeks earlier, thereby invoicing and receiving payment from its client weeks earlier.

• Redrafted all subcontract templates with company legal counsel, which has increased internal subcontract

productivity while mitigating risk to the fullest legal extent possible.

• Lead a corporate directive to rethink the current procurement process, which resulted in a clearly defined

separation of duties among internal parties, improved validation of procured items and eliminated potential

rogue activities.

• Redesigned purchase order format to include protective language and incorporate purchase order "terms

Commodity Manager - Technical Services / EPC Services

LYONDELLBASELL INDUSTRIES - Houston, TX - 2012 to 2013

Developed and deployed various procurement strategies for leveraging technically complex commodities

relative to major projects for various LYB sites with an emphasis on capital projects.

• Successfully built numerous technical service provider labor rate classification models which compared

individual labor rates being charged to LYB to market averages. This resulted in amending and reducing

specific labor pricing in many existing technical service provider agreements.

• Once Fluor sold P2S (2011), successfully severed and re-established dozens of core company service

• Effectively implemented American Express purchasing card program including an on-line reconciliation tool

that provided after hour purchasing capabilities to project sites and eliminated purchases without management

Corporate Subcontract Manager

JV INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES, LTD - La Porte, TX - 2005 to 2011

Established and directed a corporate subcontracting program and process throughout the JVIC organizations.

• Successfully established a Master Subcontract Agreement program (over 275 subcontract agreements) that

reduced internal administrative costs by 75% and significantly lowered pricing through volume-use discounts.

• Coordinated with JVIC legal counsel to minimize / transfer risk unto the subcontractor through the instrument

of a subcontract agreement.
