Duties and Responsibilities:

o To Performing the incoming raw materials inspection & Refer with ASME

SEC. II Part A, B & C (ELECTRODES) and verification of material

traceability and test certificates.

o To Performing material traceability inspection inprocess fitup &

inprocess welding inspection, Dimensional inspection & Final

inspection as per the approved drawings and specifications.

o To Co-Ordinate with Authorized Inspector and Third Party Inspectors.

o Monitor the quality control functions/activities of a project,

including quality control inspection schedules and the review and

approval of all topside quality controls.

o Performing Welding Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) in case of

variation in the essentials variable with existing PQR, as per

international standards and additional requirement of client for

Carbon steel, Stainless Steel, duplex stainless steel, super-duplex

stainless steel, copper nickel, aluminum, titanium, Inconel.

o Preparing welding Procedure Specification (WPS) with relevant

qualified PQR for the particular projects.

o Witnessed and preparation of WPS, PQR & WPQR as per AWS D17.1

(aerospace) for Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel, aluminum, copper

alloy materials - Singapore Airlines.

o Performing Welder Qualification Tests for various welding procedure

specifications as per ASME section IX & ASME B31.3, API 1104, AWS

D1.1, AWS D17.1 & etc for Carbon steel, Stainless Steel, duplex

stainless steel, super-duplex stainless steel, copper nickel,

aluminum, titanium, Inconel materials.

o Selecting the suitable filler metal for the base metal qualification

of Carbon steel, Stainless Steel, duplex stainless steel, super-duplex

stainless steel, copper nickel, Inconel materials.

o Witness and preparation of WPS/PQR and WPQR in Keppel Benoi as per

ASME Sec IX/B31.3 Specification and the process SMAW, GTAW, FCAW,

GMAW, SAW (Automatic welding).

o Preparing and implementing Inspection Test Plan and Method Statement

for various activities involved in the construction of Piping,

Pipeline as project specification & relevant International Standards

and getting approvals from the client.

o Carrying of dimensional and material review of Compact ball valves,

globe valve, gate valve, butterfly valve, check valve, needle valve,

PS valve.

o Performed inspection of all the piping components of stainless steel,

duplex stainless steel, super-duplex stainless steel, carbon steel,

titanium, Inconel and etc.,

o To Initiating and controlling NCR & DCR for the fabricated items.

o To inspect the vessel's Nozzles orientation marking and Opening.

o To visually inspect the liquid penetrant testing, Magnetic Particle

testing, of the fabricated items.

o Maintain the Welder's Performance & Updating Repair Rate report to the

Client.

o To review RT film as per the code with Acceptance criteria.

o Review & Witnessing Heat Treatment (PWHT) for stress relieving.

o Witnessed for PWHT, UT, MPI, DPT, Tensile test, Bend Test, Impact

Test, Micro, Hardness test, Water proof test, Corrosion Pitting test,

Dust proof test and etc., based on project requirements.

o Witnessed impact testing for the Duplex & super-duplex materials.

o Witnessed PMI inspection for Stainless, Duplex, Super-duplex, copper

nickel, titanium, Inconel and etc., Review the PMI report based on

code & project requirements.

o To prepare the NDT offer list as per the NDT requirements.

o To conduct the pad pneumatic test.

o To conduct the Line Inspection, prepare the punch items based on

Approved ISO Drawings, P & ID Drawings & Keyplan.

o To conduct the Hydro Test & Pneumatic Test as per project

requirements.

o Maintaining MCCR Status & Co-ordinate with Client to Clear the MCCR.

o Witnessed thread inspection (API, ACME) according to project

requirements.

o Performing inspection of semi finished fabricated items at vendor

premises.

o Witnessed FAT inspection for pneumatic shut-off damper for the DSME

project.

o To educate the production people to done the job as per ITP, as per

ASME Code and Client or Project Standard Specification and

regulations.

o To conduct Inspection in Blasting & Coating - surface preparation,

Atmospheric condition, Holiday test, Blotter, Pull-off Test, Chloride

test, Hardness Test, Porosity, CD Test, X-cut adhesion test.

o Familiar with following welding process SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, SAW.

o Familiar with the code ASME 31.3, ASME B31.1, API 1104, ASME SEC IX,

ASME SEC II PART A, B, C, D, ASME SEC V, AWS D1.1 Std, AWS D17.1, ASME
