Satisfy the business requirement of vacating a data center under a non-negotiable deadline by physically relocating all hardware
to a new facility. Perform the migration with no down time by building a new Business Continuity environment at a third site to
run production during the move.
• Conducted a proof of concept for a new backup solution and SAN performance. Developed a comprehensive DR plan.
• Identified gaps in project management and documentation processes. Implemented effective meeting practices and
introduced formal logging of decisions, deliverables, critical dependencies, and risks.
• Identified a critical flaw in architecture and migration plan for shared storage. Engaged vendors and senior management to
