SUMMARY of Mr. Snider has over 40 years of experience in the design and drafting of ships, semi-submersibles, jack-up

EXPERIENCE rigs, lift boats, FSO and FPSO’s and many other vessels and types of marine projects. He has performed as

Section Leader, Design Coordinator, Senior Designer and Designer in the following disciplines; structural,

arrangements/outfitting, mechanical, mooring, piping and electrical.

SPECIAL He has over 30 years of experience with Cad design systems. Currently using, AutoCAD 2014 and

SKILLS Mechanical 2014. He has received training and some experience in Solid Works 2010 and Inventor 2014.

Routinely works with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and a variety of other software

AXON Rig Concept & Design, Houston -- 2010 to March 2014

• Senior Cad Designer providing drafting support and designs for Axon Mast Equipment Package

(MEP) for Tension Leg Working Platform for Bass Drill. Develop General Arrangements, Piping

P&ID’s, Structural plans and preliminary Electrical drawings and Hazardous Area Plans.

SEAWELL AMERICAS, INC., Houston -- 2008 to 2010

• Senior Cad Designer providing drafting support for Seadrill’s fleet of offshore drilling rigs.

Develop preliminary concept drawings for platforms, spars and rigs. Create modification drawings

from Engineering sketches, update arrangements, structural, and piping drawings per information

from Engineers and the Rigs. Development of fire fighting and lifesaving plans for the Seadrill

fleet in order to obtain approval by ABS and DNV.

TRANSOCEAN, Houston -- 2004 to 2008

• Senior Cad Designer providing drafting support for their fleet of offshore drilling rigs. Develop

drawings from Engineering sketches, update arrangements, structural, electrical and piping

drawings per as-built information from engineering and rig managers. Development of fire

fighting and lifesaving plans for the fleet and dealing with ABS and DNV approval and

compliance with their regulations.

• From early 2005 to July 2008 worked on project S702 and S706 Dynamic Positioning

Conversions in Singapore. Provide drafting in all disciplines and handling vendor documentation.

In Singapore for 1 years on the project team working closely with shipyard on design

development and client equipment layouts.

NABORS OFFSHORE CORPORATION, Houston – Nov. 2003 to April 2004

• Senior Marine Designer: providing drawing support for Barge Rig 300. Develop structural and

piping drawings per engineering.

Rig 200 and 201, package rig for Conoco Project, develop structural and piping drawings per

• Senior Marine Designer providing drawing support for it’s fleet of offshore drilling rigs. Develop

drawings from Engineering sketches, update arrangements, structural, electrical and piping

drawings per as-built information from engineering and rig managers. Development fire fighting

and lifesaving plans for the fleet and dealing with ABS and DNV approval and compliance with

their regulations.

R&B FALCON DRILLING CO. Houston -- 1999 to 2000

• Senior Marine Designer providing drawing support for R&B Falcon’s fleet of offshore drilling

rigs. Develop drawings from Engineering sketches, update arrangements, structural, electrical and

piping drawings per as-built information from engineering and rig managers.

CLIFFS DRILLING CO. Houston -- 1997 to 1999

• Responsible for arrangements, structural and piping drawings for all of Cliffs Mobile Offshore

Production Units and Mobile Offshore Drilling Units. Developed drawings for the conversion of

Cliffs MOPU Rig 12 to Cliffs MODU Rig 202 at the shipyard in Sabine Pass. During this period

he also developed drawings for Cliffs Rigs 150, Rig 156 and Rig 154 while in shipyard for

modifications and upgrades.

• Responsible for developing drawings in Brownsville shipyard for modifications and upgrades on

Cliffs Rig 155.

• Developed drawings at a fabrication yard in Crosby, Tx. for Cliffs Drilling Rig 1. This rig is a

modular package fixed drilling rig.

• Responsibilities also included submittal of drawings for approval to ABS, USCG and Panama.

RIG MASTERS, INC Houston -- 1994 to 1997

• Santa Fe Drilling Company, “Key Singapore” jackup rig conversion from a fixed cantilever beam,

to a skid off system. Developed structural drawing and details.

• Santa Fe Drilling Company, “Key Gibraltar” jackup rig conversion form a slot rig to a cantilever

rig, with cantilever skid-off capabilities. Developed structural drawings and details from

engineering sketches and directions.

• Cliffs Drilling Company, “LaSalle” jackup rig upper and lower leg guide structures. Developed

structural drawings and details based on engineering information provided. Produced detailed cut

sheets and piece part drawings for fabrication. Worked closely with fabrication shop until

completion of assemblies.

• Worked on preliminary designs for a wide variety of liftboat proposals. Drawings included

Arrangements, Structural and Piping.

• SEDCO/Schlumberger conversion of, Cliffs Drilling Companies’ “Langley” Jack-up rig, to an

early production rig for Abacan/Amni Resources Corporation for offshore Nigeria. Provided on

site drafting to solve structural problem areas, modify foundations and develop new foundation

drawings. Worked closely with yard personnel in solving problems. Worked with fabrication

shops to provide drawings and instruction. Provided assistance to engineers for a variety of

• PRISA 250 Liftboat, new build, for Schlumberger Sedco Forex. This is a 156 ft. x 103 ft. x 13 ft.

Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit. Developed Arrangements, Fire and Safety plans, Hazardous areas,

Structural plans and piping layouts.

ALAN C. McCLURE ASSOCIATES,INC. Houston -- 1987 to 1994

• Liuhua 11-1 Development Project, Floating Production System (FPS), for AMOCO ORIENT

PETROLEUM COMPANY/CONHE. Project involved the conversion of the semi-submersible

WEST STADRILL to support sub-sea production for the South China Sea. Worked in the areas

of naval architecture, hull structure, general arrangements and mooring systems.

• Floating Storage Offloading (FSO), for CONOCO in Belida Field, Indonesia. Preliminary design

for the conversion of an existing tanker to a one million barrel FSO. Provided support in the

development of general arrangement and piping drawings and assisted in developing contract

design and construction bid package.

• Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) 410,000 DWT Tanker, machinery system study, for YEMEN

HUNT OIL COMPANY. Surveyed ship and prepared recommendations to modify steam, cargo

handling, fresh water, mooring and auxiliary piping systems. Also modified deck machinery and

material handling equipment.

• Universal Flare Boom Rigging Platform for use on semisubmersibles, for OCEANEERING

INTERNATIONAL, INCORPORATED. Structural and layout drawings for the platform and

walkways.

• SS-2500 semi-submersible design for ALAN C. MCCLURE. Provided arrangement drawings

for the design of a new semi-submersible drilling rig.

• Floating Well Test Platform, for AMOCO PRODUCTION CO. Provided plans for the tower and

can structure, ballast structure, mooring equipment and gravity anchor system.

• SWATH (Small Water-plan Area Twin Hull) vessel design for TRICO MARINE OPERATORS.

Provided arrangement and structural drawings for a new 250 passenger SWATH catamaran for

crew transportation.

• SWATH vessel design for TRANSROLL NAVEGACAO of Brazil. Provided arrangement and

structural drawings for a new SWATH catamaran with capacity for 200 passengers plus cargo.

• SS GREEN MOUNTAIN STATE, MARAD TACT-9 container vessel, for the U.S. Government-

MARAD. Provided structural, piping, mechanical and electrical plans for modifications, and

updated operating manual. Worked in the shipyard at Century Marine, Orange, Texas.

• SS CHESAPEAKE SALM (Single Anchor Leg Module) tanker conversion, for the U.S.

Government-MARAD. Provided structural, piping, mechanical and electrical working drawings

for the conversion of 47,000 DWT tanker to an offshore petroleum discharge system (OPDS) for

use in time of war to disperse petroleum to shore.

• TWIN DRILL SWATH drill-ship and pipe-lay vessel for NORMAN OFFSHORE PIPELINE,

INC. Performed a dead weight survey at dockside in Lake Charles, La.

• SEA TRADER, Hull 1137, for NORTHLAND SERVICES, INC. Provided arrangement and

foundation design for new capstan and deck fittings.

• R/V SHELL AMERICA for SHELL DEVELOPMENT COMPANY. Provide drawings to add

tow winch equipment and sheaves.

• M/V GEO TIDE for TIDEWATER MARINE SERVICES. Provided design and drawings for a

new aluminum, helicopter deck structure.

• Bulk/Ore Carrier Conversion for SEAHAWK MANAGEMENT, INC. Provided conceptual

arrangement and piping drawings to convert the ship to a combination petroleum/bulk/ore carrier

vessel.

• Floating Platform Pump for TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY. Provided layout and

structural drawings for a floating platform to support mining operations.

• Vertical Pump Barge for GOULD PUMPS INC. Produced layout and structural drawings for a

small barge to support a vertical Gould pump used to de-water pits in mining operations at the

Chino SX-EW plant in Arizona. In shipyard verification of construction and loading for road

transportation.

• 40MW Offshore Power Plant Barge for WARTSILA MARINE for international use. Provided

general arrangements, structural, and mechanical drawings of deck houses, main engine and

generator sets.

• Semi-submersible Buoy System for CUBIC CORPORATION, Japan. Provided drawings for

structural modifications and damage repair plus solar panel additions.

• Dynamic Oil Skimmer package for ALAN C. McCLURE ASSOCIATES, Conceptual design and

general arrangement drawings of a 20x8x4 foot skimmer.

• Conversion of the HOS AGIL to an Oceanographic Research Vessel (ORV) for C.U.N.Y.

University of NEW YORK. Conceptual drawings and layouts to convert existing work boat into

an oceanographic research vessel.

• CLASS 150-88C GORILLA, largest cantilever jackup for ROWAN INTERNATIONAL.

• CLASS 150-44C shallow draft cantilever jackup for CHILES DRILLING, TEXAS STAR.
