Dividers, RF Filters and Receivers. Hardware electrical design and development of radiation hardened high reliability

RF, microwave, and mixed signal hardware for Space Flight communications payloads.

My responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and development of radiation hardened high reliability RF/microwave hardware

• Development of RF boxes specifications, test procedures and engineering reports

• Performance of trade analyses, circuit analysis, worst case analysis, stress analysis and RF cascade analysis

• Conceived, implemented and improved various RF boxes such as power dividers, RF filters, LNAs, Phase

Look Loops and frequency synthesizer (S, C, X and Ku-bands)

Accomplishment:

• Delivered 6 Ka-Band LNA units to Spacecraft Level in 2014 for a commercial satellite customer

• Delivered the first GOES-R RF box (10 MHz Reference Divider unit) to Spacecraft level in 2013

• Supported the development and flight production of Phase Look Loops for the S-band and UHF receivers and

the UHF receiver unit for the GOES-R Spacecraft 2011-2013

• Responsible for a subcontracted RF filter in 2012 built by Aeroflex (80 MHz BW filter)
