PROJECT INTERN: New product Development.

Overview:

• Product domain : Industrial Assembly Power tools.

• Customer : Ingersoll-Rand International(India) Ltd

• Role : Design and develop proof of concept(POC) for Automation Endurance

product testing.

• Create conceptual design for assembly product testing, coordinate with vendors to manufacture

components for prototype testing.

• Endurance testing of each assembly tool for 1 million cycles documented over a period of 3

months.

• Process capability lab trials conducted for each variant power tools torque range.

• Implementation of POC’S in Ingersoll-Rand American testing lab, Davidson, North Carolina,

USA.

• Using Team center engineering promote POC’S for tested power tools, and generate corporate

communication numbers for items, planning from raw materials stage to testing field trials.
