PROJECTS:

1. Name of the project: “Energy management in an automated Solar powered Irrigation

system”.

Description: Our project named as above is designed to promote Agro–industrial development in the

country. Our project objective is to supply water for the fields in alternative way by generating

electricity (through solar panels). Here we introduce an advanced technique of control through GSM

module, Determination of Soil moisture and control over the water f low, Notification about the 3-

phase current availability to the farmer through GSM. In this project we make use of ARM7

controller (LPC2148) for controlling the whole process.

Role and Responsibility: Team member in development of the project.

2. Name of the project: “Intelligent system for pre-paid power & power theft detection using

GSM”.

Description: Our project named as above is designed to avoid KEB billing process and as well as the

illegal power used by the customers. This system is mainly consists of GSM module, RF transmitter

and receiver, prepaid recharging unit, energy meter and LCD display.

This system can be implemented for domestic purpose and for industrial purpose. But the

research is going on for the proper implementation of this device after they confirmed the problems

when implemented in West Bengal. Over all this is a useful device for limited power consumption.

Role and Responsibility: Team member in development of the project.

● Participated in a workshop titled "TI MSP-430" conducted by cranes software

international limited.
