Main Project:

TITLE : Finite Element Approach For Modelling And Analysing the connecting rod

DETAILS : Connecting rod is the intermediate member which transmits push and

pull from the piston pin to crank pin.

The connecting rod is modeled and analyzed by using Ansys analyzing software. Using finite

element approach the connecting rod is modelled and analyzed by changing the material. In my

project the normal carbon steel is replaced by Aluminum. The main advantage of my project is that

the weight of the engine is reduced.

Mini Project:

TITLE : Design And Fabrication Of Motorized Screw Jack

DETAILS : This report deals with design and fabrications of motorized power jack

which is used for lifting heavy automobiles, using the power from a DC motor. The project helps in

reducing the effort as well as time taken to lift the load in comparison to the ordinary screw jack. A

jackscrew is a type of jack which is operated by turning a lead screw. It is also known as a screw

jack, and is commonly used as car-jacks. The DC motor shaft and the Lead screw are

interconnected by using the worm gear arrangement. The main advantage of my project is that car

battery is enough to operate the DC motor. And it is easily portable.
