Role: Production Planning and Control / Purchase Engineer (February 2012- Till Date)

Responsible for planning the production as per the orders received from marketing department in co-ordination

with the production manager.

Preparing Monthly Production Plan & day-wise production schedules.

Consult with Shift Supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost and time efficient order.

Proper and Efficient Utilization of Manpower.

Ensuring Product Quality in the Process.

To minimize the consumption of raw material and the wastage.

Assist the Shift Supervisors to achieve shift targeted production.

Procurement of Raw Materials for Polymer Insulators, Packing materials, Processing Machineries & Equipments,

Change Parts & Engineering items,& General Items.

Coordinating with the Technical Department for Requirement of raw materials.

Follow up with the supplier for Delivery and Ensuring Supply of material at the right time in right quantities and

Identification of Vendors for different materials, sending inquiries to suppliers for quotations.

Negotiation with the party and placement of Purchase Order.

Preparation of Monthly procurement plan based on the orders from Marketing Department.

Planning of raw materials considering the lead time and consumption pattern.

Daily Reporting the Purchase Activities to General Manager.
