Objective

As a professional in the science and health fields and throughout my academic career, I have obtained the

resources and educational skills necessary to be successful in the work force. I have a doctorate in medicine,

awarded by the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Dominican Republic, and a bachelor's degree in biology

from the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez, as well as a myriad of courses that have prepared me to offer my

knowledge to a solid health institution.

Experience

Preferred Health Management July 2013 2014

I am an electronic medical record consultant and trainer (EHrez). I trained administrative personnel, office

assistants, and medical staff in the use of EHR. I am also trained in medical billing, HEDIS measures, CPT & CPT

II codes (F codes), ICD 9 codes, and Encounter codes. I have over thirty clinical offices running the EHR software

on M3 mode, that’s on meaning full use; most of them are waiting for the second round of incentives by the

federal government.

As a medical practitioner, I had the responsibility to exercise vital functions within the institution, such as

maintaining direct contact with patients, basic life support, emergency management, management of official

records, continuing studies, presentation of cases, team work, and educational lectures.

During my three years within the company, I had the opportunity to exercise my role as sales person, cashier,

valet, and administrative assistant. My work experience helped me develop my skills in all designated areas. As

an administrative assistant, I was in charge of the store, its staff, and the management of official records. As a

seller, I had the ability to work with all kinds of people in many different situations.

It was my first work experience, in the same I got multiple responsibilities from packer to atm. Thanks to this

experience I developed the sense of responsibility, learned to work as a team, and to develop communication with

the customers.

I received my Ph.D in Medicine from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in the Dominican Republic, with an

overall G. P. A of 3.38. My thesis was on THE USE OF PAIN RELIEVER WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION IN

PEOPLE OLDER THAN 18 YEARS OR MORE, IN THE SECTOR RESTORATION, SAN PEDRO DE MACORIS,

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, during the months of January to may 2013, obtaining a final rating of 91% to 100 %.

I got my bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration on Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico,

Mayaguez campus, with a G. P. A of 2.98.

Colegio San Carlos Borromeo 1995 2003 Diploma Escuela Superior

I got my high school diploma of the St. Carlos Borromeo College in Aguadilla, with a G. P. A of 3.65.
