Operates turbine and generator units efficiently and maintain tie-up with the grid. Immediately reports any observed malfunctioning of units to the Plant Engineer or the Supervisor for proper action.

Accomplishes monitoring log sheets. Record hourly generation, water level and other pertinent data as required bin the log sheets, including abnormalities that occurs during the shift. Reports these pertinent data to the Main Substation on an hourly basis.

Coordinates with the water guard on duty regarding water availability at any point in time.

Checks oil levels, lubrication, temperature, vibration and abnormalities of the generator and turbine units.

Complies with company policies and procedures, ISO requirements, safety rules, and ensures safety practices in the performance of duty. Maintains good housekeeping and cleanliness inside and outside the plant.

Performs minor repair necessary in the plant operations and assists plant maintenance crew in their work. Observes preventive maintenance procedures as directed by the Plant Engineer or Supervisor.

Ensures safety of company assets. Keeps and maintains plant equipment, tools, supplies and materials, and reports losses or damages if any. Safe keeps documents and maintain all plant records necessary for operations.

Performs other related duties that may be assigned by immediate superior.
