Work carried out:

• Active member in measurement of Residual stresses in thermally sprayed coatings using ICP

sensor.

• Active member in a sponsored research project titled, “Assessment of tribological properties of

Laser cladded Stellite based coatings”. Performed wear tests under diverse tribological modes

to assess the process parametric impact of stellite coatings

• Performed comprehensive characterization of Chromium oxide-Alumina coatings for naval

Reduction of distortion in welding and analysis of its various parameters .

Abstract:

The main aim of the project is to reduce the distortion in welding by controlling various parameters used

in weld technology (like current, weld speed, penetration, root gap) by which an optimum value is

obtained and analysis through taguchi method.

INDUSTRIAL ORIENTATION PROJECT:

Study on cooling system of Automobile engines

Abstract:

The Study on cooling system of Automobile engines was carried out at mallik cars pvt ltd facility in

Hyderabad. The step-wise procedure of the assembly of the cooling system was studied.

Cooling systems such as air cooling systems, water cooling systems were studied.

HOBBY PROJECT:

Monster truck with 3.5 cc IC Engine

Abstract:

The main aim of the project is to make a wireless remote controlled machine, powered only by a 3.5cc

IC engine, which can race against other opponents on an off-road dirt track with many obstacles.
