MRE is Marketing Rule Engine which used to consider

customer specific criteria like calling patterns, recent

purchases, MRC levels, phone and rate plan details and

other details to evaluate marketing rules and generate

customized, automated responses to the customer. This

application is mainly used to find out the customer

eligibility for Equipment upgrade. With this automated

tool, AT&T was able to reduce churn by quickly

evaluating account history to determine customer upgrade

eligibility.
