• Cycle time reduction in (economizer) coil manufacturing. (At THERMAX I ND IA LTD) (Aug

2012 to June 2013)

We proposed key changes in welding practices such as use of 1G technique instead of 5G

technique. We also designed a chuck for automation of 1G welding process. We achieved around

30% cycle t ime reduction in coil manufacturing.

• Participated in SAEINDIA BAJA 2012.

BAJA SAEINDIA is an intercollegiate engineering design competition for under-graduate and

g raduate engineering students. We designed and fabricated a Single seat ATV ( All Terrain

Vehicle). I was in the Braking Systems department. I played a major role in material

p rocurement and inventory control. I played an important part in manufacturing.

• Participated In Full Throttle at I IT Bombay (IC Engine Car Race)

We had to make a wireless remote controlled machine, powered by only an IC engine, which can

r ace with other opponents on an off-road dirt t rack with many obstacles. We designed the

s teering, breaking system and chassis of the car.

• Presented a seminar on Advanced Braking Systems
