Handles material and product to maintain appropriate flow through production areas. Documents incoming and outgoing materials. May utilize material handling equipment. Quality inspector Such as Perform inspections of parts or products to determine compliance with established standards. Duties include operating and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machines, Laser Trackers and Inspection Arms in addition to preparing documentation packages for customers and performing machine buyoffs. Reading blueprints, using hand gauges and have a good understanding. As a Machine operators, I make sure the machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. I work on many different
machines and specialize on one complex machine. They are builders, fabricators, mechanics, craftsmen and quality assurance all wrapped into one. I understand complex instructions, how schematics work and make sure items are designed and built correctly.
Problem Solving Skills: Machine operators will need to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors.
Attention to Detail: will work with precision equipment. Being off by millimeters could be a critical error. Keen attention to detail is required.
Mechanical and Technical Skills: Some machines are controlled by computers and operators will need to work with CAD/CAM technology. Others are highly mechanical and operators will need to know how and why they work.
I often work long hours doing repetitive movements.
Analytical Skills: will need to read and understand blueprints, schematics, models and other specifications.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS. Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times. Label all orders and back stock clearly. Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the
customer after loading of product. Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner. Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory. Inspect equipment to maintain good working order. Record amounts of product received and distributed. Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse. Enter records into the computer system. Other duties as assigned.
