Perform periodic inspections, modifications, overhauls, repairs, alignments and calibrations on electronic components used in communication, navigation IFF, and flight guidance systems. Perform the repair and over haul down to component level of avionics equipment utilizing various test stations and test equipment in the support of the Hu-25 Falcon, HH-60J and HH-65 helicopters C130 and CASSA aircraft. Independently analyzes work orders, engineering plans and special requests to determine job requirement to include acquiring various elements necessary for production: materials, part, test equipment, supplies, services, etc. Responsible for inventory control of assigned avionic equipment.
