Work History

March 2013-Present – The Woman’s Hospital of Texas – 7600 Fannin, Houston, Texas 77054 - Full-time position. In a very fast-paced environment, perform a wide variety of ultrasound examinations and procedures. These include:

*OB/Gyn *Breast

*Abdomen *Renal

*Neonatal Head & Spine *Thyroid

*Scrotal *Ltd Lower Extremity Venous

*SIS *Breast Biopsies & Cyst Aspirations

*Also perform ultrasound guidance in the OR for such procedures

as renal stent placement and dilatation and curettage.

Work with outpatients, inpatients and emergency room patients in the general ultrasound department, as well as the Breast Center and as portable exams on inpatients. Ultrasound systems used include t he GE Voluson and GE Logiq 9.

January 2011-March 2013 - Houston Northwest Medical Center - 710 FM 1960 West, Houston, Texas 77090. PRN position in the following departments:

The Breast Center - Worked as part of a strong team of sonographers, mammographers and

radiologists at a facility recognized as a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence by the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program. Performed breast ultrasounds, ultrasound guided cyst aspirations, needle localizations & biopsies. Experience using the Siemens Antares ultrasound system.

Peakwood Radiology Outpatient Imaging - Provided a variety of general diagnostic ultrasound exams for outpatients including OB/Gyn, Abdomen, Thyroid and Scrotal exams. Ultrasound system used was the Acuson Sequoia . As of Fall 2012, this facility is no longer in operation.

Main Ultrasound Department - Provided the same variety of general diagnostic ultrasound exams at aforementioned outpatient imaging facility, with the addition of ultrasound guided biopsies and procedures. Some neonatal head scanning performed, as well. Worked with outpatients, inpatients and emergency room patients. The Acuson Sequoia and Philips IU22 ultrasound were utilized.
