DESIGN OF SCROLL AIR COMPRESSOR

Design of scroll air compressor for automotive braking application, to understand the functioning as well as to have a

better Idea of design, reverse engineering of HVAC type scroll compressor was carried out besides from the data and

governing equations obtained from various publications, matlab simulation was carried out for obtaining the best

design parameters.

Cooling System for Scroll Type Compressor

A cooling arrangement for effective heat dissipation was fabricated and the data pertaining to operation of a HVAC

type scroll compressor with air as working medium together with diverse operation conditions was recorded as well

as analyzed for obtaining the optimum running conditions for the specified applications
