Scoped, setup Charter and funding, managed budget, schedule and quality on remodeling and preventive

maintenance projects at Kaiser Facilities. Managed 20 to 30 projects simultaneously. Worked with

contracts Department on contracts, collaborated with the client and architects regarding design. Worked

with in house Superintendent and operations and outside General Contractors for construction. Lead

regular meetings to keep Project on track and to resolve any issues. Closeout, document, obtain

warranties, and hand over projects to Operations Department or other client. Outstanding performance

review.

• Managed the 13,500 sq. ft., $7 mill, conversion of warehouse space at the Kaiser, Berkeley

Campus to into a Home IV Compounding Pharmacy, which included a Class 5 Clean Room,

product assembly area, office space, and product storage area.

• Managed multiple projects at the Garfield Innovation Center to develop prototypes of future

medical centers and hospitals that incorporate most recent technologies.

• Successfully completed a 17,000 sq. ft., $1mill, Training Center at the Pleasanton Data Center.

Completed Boiler, HVAC, BMS upgrade and metering projects.

Construction Project Manager

Completed many construction projects by maintaining project budget and schedule. Oversaw work

performed by contractors and in house crews. Implemented onsite safety plans including respiratory

monitoring for asbestos and silica, fall protection, confined space, NFPA 70E Lock out tag-out plans

compliant with OSHA and DOE requirements.

• Managed construction of a 25,000 sq. ft. laser laboratory remodel with sensitivity to scientific

equipment. Relocated VAV boxes from laboratory rooms into hallways to minimize vibration

and noise.

• Replaced roofing, HVAC units, boilers, fume hoods and their associated exhaust fans, upgraded

electrical and plumbing systems. Managed switch gear replacement and work in substations.

service projects of varying complexity, working directly with customers, contractors, engineers,

• Designed and estimated electric distribution projects and replacement of rotten and overstressed

poles, transformers and other related equipment. Utilized AutoCAD and Sherpa to draw projects

and order materials. Referenced electric distribution and circuit maps and complied with G095
