Exact Machine Service is a startup company, which began operation in August

of 2005. My responsibilities included diagnosis and repair of conventional

machine shop equipment as well as CNC equipment. I also built upgrade

interfaces for metrology equipment. We also setup, aligned, and calibrated

machine shop equipment, production equipment and metrology equipment.

then was moved into field service when the company fell on hard times. I

was responsible for installation and calibration of new equipment as well

as training operators.

main thrust of the position. With an assigned territory of several states

and a yearly goal to shoot for the business grew steadily for the 12 years

Having passed the test for becoming a machinist apprentice I was hired

within several months of graduating high school. I completed my 8,000

hours of training and received my certificate as a journeyman machinist.

Although the company was in decline during that time they provided an

excellent start for my career in the mechanical field of service and

engineering.
