Working currently, as Senior Scientist in the Microbial Up streaming

Lab (MUL) at Biocon Research Limited, Bangalore from September 2012

till date

. Process optimization for production improvement of Tacrolimus,

Lipstatin, Pravastatin, RifamycinB, Fedaxomycine, Epothilone,

. Optimized the multi step fermentation of Micafungin till 10kl and

submitted the POC for Tech transfer to production

. Optimised the High throughput mutant screening technique by plug assay

. Optimized the mutation process for the production species of

Lipstatin, Sirolimus, Tacrolimus and Fedexomycine

. Tacrolimus mutant with 25% higher productivity from the existing

strain

. Protoplasting process optimization for the fungal cultures for strain

. Ruled out the problem of inconsistent productivity in Pravastatin

production at shake flask and bench scale level

fermentation"
