• Assemble cargo according to destination.

• Routes inbound and outbound air freight shipments to their destinations.

• Take telephone orders from customers and arrange for pickup of freight and delivery to

loading platform.

• Weigh items and determine cost, using rate book.

• Itemize charges, prepare freight bills, accept payments and issue refunds.

• Prepare manifest to accompany shipment.

• Notify shippers of delay in departure of shipment.

• Unload inbound freight and notify consignees on arrival of shipment and arrange for

delivery to consignees.
