Project Details: Microprocessor hardware self-test architecture for on-line testing

Tools Requiered:Modelsim, Xilinx

Project Description: The technique proposed forces the processor to execute a compact

SBST-like test sequence by using a hardware module called Microprocessor Hardware Self-

Test (MIHST) unit, which is intended to be connected to the system bus like a normal

memory core, requesting no modification of the processor core internal structure.

MIHSTmethod guarantees the same or higher defect coverage than the traditional

SBST approach, it reduces the time for test execution.

Project title: “Designing a ROUTER1x3 and code coverage”

Tool required: Xilinx, questasim 10.0b.

Project Description: Developed the router1x3, where it had one source and three client scenario. The code

coverage scenario was also done. The router also covered the scenario that, the client performed the read

operation, whenever the fifo is full. The router was verified with various payload length .
