Objective

To find a job where I can use the skills that I have and to learn and push

myself to further my skill set. I am a hard worker. I take pride in results that I

produce. I want to work for a company where I can put my skills to use to

improve them and myself.

Experience

I have a 20 year history in textile machine repair and maintenance with Alice Manufacturing from 1976 to 1996.

I worked on heavy machinery so I’m very good at repairing mechanical equipment. I can read documentation

(manuals, drawings, etc.) to help in the repairing of equipment. After the mills closed I started working as a

carpenter. I was in home building for about 6 years and loved creating new houses. I worked for the Trident

Pattern company building large wooden pump molds and they were required to be very precise. Later I worked

as an independent contractor in a small home building business. Within the last few years I started working in

the glass industry building metal frames then installing glass within the frames. For about two and a half years I

was at a cotton mill performing basic repair and maintenance on the machinery in the factory.
