Working as a software developer at Center for Advancement of Learning and Assessment (CALA) FSU. Work on designing,

developing and testing large quality assurance codebase for Florida’s Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT 2.0). Working with existing code

base (Ruby & Python), modifying it for accommodating new requirements and migrating it to Obj C.

Website Developer:-

Worked as a website developer for department of statistics, FSU. Developed a website on statistics department cloud, which provides

user with RNA global alignment comparison. Main functionality was to take user provided RNA parameters, Run Matlab RNA program and

provide user with series of analytical data.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Design and implementation of personalized search enabled search engine:-

Developed a ranking algorithm for personalized search enabled search engine to resolve ambiguity in the keywords based upon t heir

search history, interest, and profile aiming to empower a search engine with ability to decide what user actually wants and provide search results

accordingly.

Design and implementation of a messenger application:-

Implemented messenger application based on client-server model. Advance UNIX programming concepts of socket programming;

signal handling and thread programming concepts were used.

Design of a Social Website for creating awareness about Global Warming: -

Designed a social networking website for creating global warming awareness and also aiming to provide a common platform for

different interested people or authorities to interact, share views, provide scientific researches on the area, discuss problems etc.

Implementation of UNIX Shell:-

Implemented regular Linux shell features by writing a C program. Shell system calls like execvp, waitpid, fork and dup2 w ere

employed.

Improving Longevity of Flash Storage using Wear leveling and migration technique: -

Developing a flash memory block wear leveling algorithm to reduce to number of erase operation and hence increase the overall

lifespan of flash storage devices which can enable the use of it as primary memory.

Implemented Student Database Record to store and perform distinct operations on student data: -

Designed a database to store records of students and implemented various functionalities to manage and modify database.

Project design and implementation training on IBMs Rational Application Developer: -
