Permit me to describe my professional skill-set in support of my claim for

candidacy. I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Laurentian

University in May 2012. I will be finished my diabetes and foot care

program at the end of August, 2014. I have been heavily involved within the

geriatric population at varying front line capacities for over 10 years

(since 2002). My skill-set includes:

Geriatric assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation;

Patient/Family-centered care, holistic attitude, social,

psychological and spiritual support;

Short-term career goal is to secure a management and leadership position in

a diverse and challenging clinical area specializing in gerontology to

develop my nursing practice competencies and build upon my strengths in
