EWOS is a leading and trusted supplier of feed and nutrition for the international aquaculture industry. They have

produced fish feed since 1935. EWOS operates in all four of the world’s major salmon farming regions: Norway,

Chile, Canada, and Scotland.

• Worked chief of the plant, while training to be a process engineer manager.

• As chief of the plant, I have experienced the tasks of all three operating shifts, the main equipment that I

worked with were:

o Hammer mills.

o Mixer (Powder raw materials)

o Extruder.

o Dryers.

o Coolers.

o Coaters.

• Directly supervised fifty employees and managed the daily duties of an additional fifteen employees on an as

needed basis.

• Responsible for production of fish food for salmon consumption.

• Experience in inspections by our international standards, such as Quality (ISO 9001), Food Safety (ISO

22000), Environment (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001).

• As a process engineer in training, I worked on the development of new products as well as customer

satisfaction and concerns upon new product arrival.

• Worked to improve process efficiency and energy consumption.

• Allowed me the opportunity to directly deal with suppliers and work with them on a managerial level.

Chemical Plant and Bleach Area Supervisor, CMPC Celulosa S.A. Laja, Bio-Bio, September 2009-October 2011.

CMPC is one of the leading Latin American companies in the production and marketing of forest products, pulp,

paper, tissue, and paper products. CMPC has diversified and balanced sales, in regards to products and destinations.

CMPC product is sold in over 55 countries and has a client base of approximately 20,000.

• Assumed supervisory position of the chemical and bleach area within four months of hire.

• Directly supervised fourteen employees.

• Operational supervision and Coordination of equipment maintenance, as such as:

o Retention towers. (FRP, Fiberglass reinforced plastic)

o Chemical reactor. (Production of ClO2)

o Bleach filters.

o Chemicals Tanks. (NaClO3, H2SO4, CH3OH, NaOH and HCl)

• Managing the manufacturing process in a way that would optimize consumption of chemicals allowing for

less waste.
