Used 31.4 MB emails provided by SpamAssassin Apache, used tm package to create corpus and did preprocessing

Built kNN and SVM models to detect spam emails on test data. It turns out that SVM reaches higher accuracy

Given 2,000 training instances with 14,859 bag-of-words, built document term matrix and used TF-IDF

Built Linear kernel and RBF kernel SVM models with “e1071” packages and got accuracy 86.258%

Given 210 data points with 30 features, built k-NN models to predict 370 test data points and got accuracy 95.367%

With the same data, built a CART decision tree to make predictions and got accuracy 96.525%
