I have been working in The Alliance II Project since the beginning of 2008, along

last 4 years I have shown commitment, responsibility and professionalism for

Halliburton Project Management during the execution of the project. My current

responsibilities in this position include; Integration of all available data (geology,

seismic, well data, drilling and production reports) to obtain a good

understanding of the subsurface of each well location (exploration and

development wells). Identify all Geological Hazards that could affect all phases

of Drilling Operations, especially Regional Growth Faults, Unconformities,

Overpressure Zones, Horizontal Stress Regimes and behavior around Salt Bodies

and their impact on the pore pressure profile and in the Stratigraphic Column.

Working closely with Geomechanics Team and Drilling Engineer to deliver a

more accurate and reliable operational window that contribute to avoid,

mitigate, and overcome operational problems during drilling activities such as

lost circulations, stuck pipe, wellbore stability problems, etc. Provide geological

input in the well planning phase for conventional and horizontal development

wells, analyzing the natural formation tendency for directional wells due to the

dip of formation, lithology expected and formation with high compressibility.

Provide Geological support to any drilling program, describe and document all

subsurface targets and uncertainties identified under the VCD methodology.

During the drilling phase responsible of follow-up drilling, supervise well site

geologists, ensure high quality data acquisition of mudlogging, logging and

coring information, ensure load data into data bases, interpretation of geological

and drilling reports, daily updates of well trajectories, stratigraphic and

structural correlation in real time with MWD/LWD tools in Landmark G & G

suite. Geosteering for high angle and horizontal wells, Geological Uncertainty

Evaluation. Identification of Overpressure Zones while drilling, determination of

proper casing setting depth based upon the stratigraphy column and

geopressure profile. Determination of the total depth for each well guaranteeing

the targets prognosed in the drilling program. Co-leader of Real Time Operations

Center. Support to Reservoir Engineers with the integration of all information

gathered during drilling and the qualitative evaluation of the petrophysical logs

and other formation data to determine perforation intervals in order to maximize

the oil production and the field development plan. Documentation of challenges

and lesson learned, final reports, providing geological input to geoscience team

to update geological models. Coach, mentor and guide junior and less

experienced staff.

Feb 08–May 2011. Managing Consultant Geology Sr.. Consulting &

Project Management. Alliance II Drilling Project Halliburton. Mexico

Senior Geologist for Alliance II Drilling Project (Halliburton-Pemex), this project

had a goal of drilling 58 wells in a very complex geological area. My tasks were

to analyze all geological aspects during planning and execution of the

construction of wells, identifying any geological hazard that could affect the

drilling times and avoiding non- productive times.

Daily updates of wells, correlations in real time with MWD/LWD, X-sections,

maps and well trajectories in Landmark G & G suite. Identification of

Overpressures Zones and its impact in the drilling operation. Risks analysis

contribution to the appraisal, development and reservoir management of Pemex

Assets. Ensured all data and information gathered from operational activities as

Mudlogging, Logging, MWD/LWD, Pressure Monitoring, coring sampling and

well test were transferred and stored correctly. Attended meetings related to all

geological problems in drilling to ensure the most current methods and

techniques were applied to guarantee success in the drilling operations. Business
