Facilities Security Officer (FSO) (1/2003 – 12/2013)

•Certified Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) user since 2003. Proficient in Communications Security (COMSEC), Risk, Vulnerability and Cyber Security Awareness, and Information Assurance.

•Performed 100-350 employee indoctrinations, fingerprinting, debriefings, personnel security documentation, adjudication and processed initial security investigations and periodic re-investigations. Performed interpretation, implementation, enforcement and execution of corporate security policies and procedures in compliance with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regulations and guidelines. This has resulted in a 70% reduction of time and funding needed to accomplish security tasks.

•Conducted 5 company security inspections and audits, and 5 Defense Security Service (DSS) Audits which resulted in 5 consecutive SATISFACTORY Ratings. Office Manager (3/2013 – 12/2013)

•Created and maintained Monthly Ship Alteration Reports (MARS) for the SEAWOLF, OHIO and LOS ANGELES Class submarines, resulting in a 50% reduction in hours and funding to complete alteration.

•Served as Team Lead and Project Manager for SEA05Z Confidential LiveLink Document Management Server support staff while coordinating and executing project management tasks. My leadership resulted in SEA05Z being able to take total ownership of the server 4 months after conception.

•Created and organized Hardware and Equipment Inventory List for the PMS350 Program Office transition from Arlington, VA to the Washington Navy Yard in 2001. Resulted in 100% of the inventory being accounted for when the move was complete.

Portfolio Management (1/2007 – 9/2009)

•Monitored and developed modernization efforts throughout Fiscal Year 2009 (FY09) for the NAVSEA Command Information Office (CIO).

•Prepared and coordinated 3 NAVSEA Annual Reviews with the NAVSEA CIO to ensure certification compliance and registration in the Department of Defense Information Technology Portfolio Repository Department of Navy (DITPR-DON). Resulted in 100% compliance.

•Served as the Functional Area Manager for Navy OPNAV N40 Logistics and OPNAV N6F Command and Control for the task of eliminating over 100 unnecessary software applications and databases from the Navy Legacy Network and coordinate placement into the Department of Navy Application and Database Management System (DADMS). Resulted in eliminating 100% of the unnecessary applications.

•Represented the OPNAV N41 0-6 SHIPMAIN Review Board for the funding accuracy to approve or disapprove FY08 ship improvements. Resulted in N41 staying on budget.

•Updated and assisted in the functionality of QuickPlace, HQWeb, FlagSES Web, Retired Flag Web, Sea Enterprise Web and Navy Department Awards Web Services (NDAWS) for the Director of Navy Staff.
