Managing Director
SLG is General Contracting Construction Management Firm which specializes in commercial
infrastructure and public/private sector projects in order to provide the attention to detail, design and
personalized service that clients of this caliber deserve and expect. SLG Construction is uniquely
positioned in its industry to pave the way to providing the best quality results.
Responsible for creating, negotiating and closing deals/contracts. Consistently delivered on a 4 to
5 concurrent project work load while demonstrating leadership through planning, analysis,
execution, resource monitoring, alignment and budget management.
Led teams of 6-20 with varied workforce including union and non-union workers, estimators,

design review and pre-construction with a focus on value engineering for the most competitive
and responsible project team and cost.
Responsible for client relationship and engagement management from award to close out with
public agencies such as NYPA, SCA, DASNY and CUNY. Projects types included science lab
upgrades, cooling tower replacements, chiller and boiler modernization, exterior modifications,
etc. Also structured/operated sub-prime trade and prime deals for private clients such as Tutor
Perini, Quest Builders, Sciamie Construction and K-Way.
Oversee and construct high visibility projects requiring specialized skills with Resort World,
Breslin Hotel, and multiple high-end public, private and residential developments.
Developed concise reporting methods through various technical platforms to help both the client /
project team to track, schedule and determine budget performance. This was especially helpful to
clients as they gauged the impact of project scope or requirement changes. Liaison between
architects and project leaders in all scenarios.

budgets for light commercial and high end residential (interior) projects; all completed under
budget and ahead of schedule.
Coordinated and supervised construction processes from concept to completion. Maintained
communication lines between architects, engineers, decorators, and proprietors. Directed job site
meetings, maintained schedules, prepared, distributed and logged change orders.
Developed new division resulting in 1/3 of the firm’s profit the first year. Second year profits
doubled. Operated as division head responsible for budget, staff and clients.
Organized and maintained SK drawings and revised construction plans. Worked with architects
and designers to create value engineering scales.

Founder of a Custom Cabinetry and Finish Carpentry Company
Operated a 6 person custom cabinetry and finish woodwork company. Maintained a full service
1000 sq.ft. shop with complete production capabilities. Built and installed custom cabinetry, built-
ins and finish woodwork. Oversaw customer service, inventory control, and product quality.
Commissioned by construction management companies to provide custom built-in and finish
carpentry installations. Companies included 3-D Laboratories, D&D Interior Renovations, and
Michael Bernstein Designs Associates.
