that deals with personal auto insurance. The Client has operations based

out of Woodland Hills, CA and Wilmington, DE.

Project Details (Team Size 20 Associates)

. Re-Branding - As part of the 21st Century Insurance takeover effort by

AIG. The entire client facing web applications, Internal Corporate

application, and Call Center application had been rebranded with the

new logo. As part of this effort, tested the eQuote application.

o Make Sure all the intranet and internet portal has the latest

logo

o Validate that all print forms has the new logo and signatory

o Check to ensure that realigned positions are showing up

correctly both in mail that go out to customer and the document

archive in the application.

. Conversion - For States that 21st Century Insurance had strong

footprints in like CA, it was decided to convert those policies from

the DRC system (Legacy AIG) to the 21st Century System. Also as part

of consolidation, moved all of the states from APS to DRC system.

Ensured all policy details and billing details were updated correctly

on destination system.

o Ensure policy at renewal are getting converted to new systems

o Rate the application before conversion and ensure that rating

after conversion is within the desirable range of variation.

o Ensure all the renewal packages are getting generated from the

new system and not going from the old system

o As part of document validation ensure that new renewal packages

along with rebranded logo /new corporate address are validated.

o Work with LOB/Dev to take stock of policy that are about to

renew and make sure these numbers tie up during SIT window

o Participate in all the LOB Session to brainstorm various error

reports that needs to be created to facilitate conversion

o Validate the converted policy on all the new systems

o Ensure that the system allows amendment to converted policy

. eService redesign -Internet customer policy service (like printing

duplicate ID cards, billing) application redesigned with new look and

feel, to be faster and more responsive. Validate the POS functionality

that let users to renew policy and pay for the new term online. Ensure

the credit card payments are validated and cross checked in the

billing Enterprise Billing System (EB). Validate the functionality

that permits auto pay mode for custom billing.

. Documentum Upgrade - New printer install. 21st Century brought in new

printer setup and replaced the old legacy system. This project

resulted in testing all the print document that goes to customer.

o Validate to ensure the new format for all the forms that was

mailed out

o Ensure all the items that needs to go as part of Package

(Welcome Kit or Renewal Package) contain all the items that

needs to be sent to customer

o Check to ensure that sequencing of the forms within a package

was in correct order

o More than 200 forms were tested as part of this effort

. Tested all the Quarterly and Monthly releases

. Performed Test Management using HP Quality Center.

. Executed QTP scripts to generate test data for Policy team and

validate regression test cases.

and their rating engine was programmed to provide custom rates

based on various criteria.
