Provided a wide variety of psychological services at
different settings in and around Pocatello, Idaho. Received
weekly individual supervision (2 hours), and group
supervision (2 hours) for treatment and assessment cases.
Participated in weekly didactic training on clinical and
professional topics in psychology. Training included weekly
video review of a psychiatric interview conducted on an
inpatient behavioral health unit, as well as monthly
submitting a video recording of a patient interview I had
conducted.

Provided psychological services as part of a multi-disciplinary
primary medical care team. The site provided good training
to work as a generalist practitioner in a rural setting.
Services were provided to a wide range of populations
including aging adults, children and their families, and
college students. Consulted with both resident and outside
physicians to provide comprehensive assessments for patients
presenting with possible neuropsychological disorders (e.g.,
ADHD, dementia), learning/academic disorders, mood disorders,
anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and personality
disorders. Provided psychotherapy for individuals mostly
from a short-term interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral
perspective, as well as some long-term psychodynamic
intervention. Participated in a grant-funded multi-
disciplinary intervention project targeting the specific
health care needs of aging adults. Observed numerous
evaluations and hearings of adults in inpatient settings
facing possible involuntary commitment.

clinic and developmental disabilities agency. Served
predominantly low-income individuals and families from
Pocatello and rural surrounding areas. Conducted

incarcerated in detention facility. Provided manualized and
evidence-based treatment, as wellas some triage intervention
with adolescents.

staffing meetings. Conducted weekly process-oriented group

disorder features. Also provided intervention with
adolescents having various developmental and behavioral
disorders. Adolescent treatment included regular meetings
with the families of clients to discuss how their home
environments interact with the pursuit of treatment goals.
Conducted clinical intake interviews and formulated reports
from observations and clinical testing results for the
purpose of making recommendations for treatment. Received 1
hour of individual supervision weekly with a post-doctoral
psychology resident practicing under a licensed clinical
psychologist (45 hours total). Attended weekly group
supervision to discuss the cases of current child clients and
receive instruction on working with child clients and their
parents from a psychodynamic perspective. Attended weekly
didactic meetings where we received instruction on various
clinical and professional issues.
