Professional Experience

• July 10th 2013 to February 28th 2014, I was working as a temporary accounting processor for

Marathon Petroleum, in their Project & Cost Management division.

As a processor it was my duty to route, for approval, projects that were being under taken by

the Pipeline Engineering (PE) and Terminal Engineering (TE) departments of Marathon’s

Project & Cost Management division (P&CM). I have also attached an unsolicited letter of

recognition for my performance from Greg Grerdman a now retired project leader for the

Terminal Engineering department.

Along with routing projects for approval, I was also responsible for performing Monthly

o

reconciliations for all projects being undertaken by the PE and TE departments.

I was also entrusted with running, on a weekly basis, the AFE (Authority for Expenditure)

o

report and Data Integrity for Pipeline Engineering, as well as running the Data Integrity

report for Terminal Engineering.

My last responsibility was performing the role of a PCS (Project Controls Specialist) for the

ESRs being used by the Pipeline and Terminal Engineering Departments. My duties entailed

cost tracking the ESRs, monthly reconciling, performing monthly and quarterly accruals for

ESRs, and routing the ESRs for more funds if needed.

• From January 3rd to May 10th of 2013, I was an Accounting Intern with Fabrizio and Shultz CPA in

Tiffin, Ohio; and received a letter grade of A.

I was under the tutelage of Mr. John Fabrizio and Mr. Ryan Shultz, while being supervised

by Brittny Gaietto. As an accounting intern, I was given the tasks of performing monthly

bank reconciliations for the business clients of Fabrizio & Shultz, creating the month/year

end statements for these same companies, and preparing tax returns for the firm’s non-

business clients. Also as my final project for the internship, I was tasked with moving one of

the firm's business client's past year’s financial information from paper documents to

entering this information into the client’s new QuickBooks company account.
