2004-2013 Scientific Management Techniques, INC. Manufacturing/Applications

Engineer

. Established in house engineering department with art to part

manufacturing capabilities and server storage system. Prior system was

paper drawings in file cabinets with hand drawn redlined ECO system.

. Established in house manufacturing department for manufacturing both

mechanical and electrical/PLC product line. Created internal

standards, implemented training of manufacturing personnel, monitored

progress until established, and then turned over to manufacturing

manager.

. Set up cell manufacturing capabilities for three distinct product

lines, one mechanical, and two electrical based.

. Established computerized inventory management system with Kanban

storage system for all manufacturing raw materials used in production.

. Set up addressed warehouse storage location for all manufacturing

materials.

. Set up a manufacturing machine shop complete with CNC machining

capabilities. Also wrote all manufacturing CNC programs and was

responsible for machine set up and first article buyoff of

manufactured parts.

. Created all BOM's, wire run documents, drawing packages, and

electrical schematics used by manufacturing using AutoCad and Alibre

Design software packages. Was also responsible for material

disposition from outside vendors as well as vendor establishment and

qualification.

. Created an advanced level machine principles training program for

industry training of electro/mechanical skills required by high speed

packaging mechanics and machine operators.

. Implemented the training program in many fortune 500 companies with

measured results. Raised OEE numbers at four major North American

Unilever plants twenty percentage points and captured 2.2 million

dollars' worth of additional production volume.

. Adjunct professor for Workforce Development Departments for Manchester

Community College as well as Southwest Tennessee Community College

delivering both Electrical/Mechanical /Controls and TPM training to

many fortune 500 companies including Unilever, Smiths Medical, Insight

Technology, Stonyfield Yogurt, Domino Sugar, Gorton's Seafood, Tyco

. Sub assembly systems engineer for the MRSI 505 high speed ultra-

precise vision guided assembly work cell used in semiconductor device

manufacturing using AutoCad Software.

. Systems design engineer for the MRSI 375 Automated Work Cell vision

guided assembly work cell used in semiconductor device manufacturing

. Systems design engineer for the MRSI 175 Encore encapsulation dispense

cell used in semiconductor device assembly using AutoCad

Software.Designed many leading edge assemblies used for semiconductor

assembly such as a dual chamber linear positive displacement pump,

dual conveyor system, heated vacuum based assembly stations and

tooling used on the pick and place head using AutoCad Software.

. Designed the MRSI 175 Ag Conductive Epoxy Dispenser, an industry first

dispenser with the capability to repeatedly dispense dots as small as

0.005 thousandths of an inch.
