Social Worker in Children's Day Treatment Program. Therapy given in group

With structured activities. Assessing their emotional and behavioral dispositions.

Children are on medication and seen by physician to reduce anger and anxiety.

Children up to 12 years old with a lot of family issues. DHS involved in many cases. Case mangers work

with therapist: Children hopefully with this program to do well in school. Anger management and parenting

groups conducted by myself weekly after hours.

Children & Family Investigative Worker- Assessment Of Children in abuse,neglect situations- safety an

integral part of assessments evaluating family's home situations conditions, atmosphere. Removal of children

as they are referred to In-Home Foster Care Divisions. Impetus to get children out of the system reasonable

efforts must be made.

Medicaid Specialist In Foster Care Division - Children on Medicaid to allow for services needed such as

for medical, social, cognitive, educational to help children in various cases with on-going problems

identified in treatment plans. Medicaid Specialist supervised 40 foster care workers in keeping

Medicaid current. Yearly Audits were scheduled by the state personnel to see if services provided were

addressed in the treatment plan. The Child Welfare Dept. was able to reimburse monies from the state

after the last audit.

on discharge planning while assessing social-emotional well-being of patients and their
