as ordered. Process billing and very insurance eligibility and collect payments on patient accounts.

Eagle Walk-in Clinic 5/07-3/08 (PRN). Perform vitals including blood pressure, temperature,

pulse/heart rate manually, bone density and collect information from patients in a walk-in clinic setting.

Document vitals in e-lab for physicians. Collect strep, urinalysis, urine preg, bloodwork, blood cultures,

set up slides from microevals, fingersticks for cholesterol and blood sugar check and also run CBC and

Chem 7 when ordered. Collect and process urine drug screens for reference labs.

Labcorp 2006-6/2008. Worked in a busy Patient Service Center as a Patient Service Technician.

Collected blood draws on all age groups. Care support and reference lab testing as need for blood

collection for Carolina Kidney affiliated with LabCorp. Performed Paternity testing weekly and properly

processed for court ordered cases. Accession lab work as needed and to send to proper locations in the

main lab and or reference labs. Process billing and verify insurance eligibility and collect payments on

patient accounts.

UNC Hospitals 4/2004-8/2006. In-patient blood draws for various age groups specializing in pediatric.

Experience in oncology and burn unit collects. Assisted with early am collection and pre-surgery units.

Performed EKG’S and dressing/preparations for surgery as needed. Out-patient collects at Ambulatory

Care as needed.

Qualifications and skills

Proficient and very experienced in blood collection of all age groups specifically pediatric and geriatric

collects.

Over 10 years of experience in laboratory and phlebotomy and EKG’S.

Very experienced in hospital setting with collections for all unit of hospital.

Obtained experience PRN as a Certified Nursing Assistant in an assisted living.

Very dependable and can perform task in timely manner.

Can work in very diverse setting and perform easily under pressure and effectively with others.
