Designed and performed a project on rejuvenation of offshore carbonate brown

fields of Congo basin in a team environment and submitted proposals with an

expected additional recovery of about 7.5Mbls.

Performed static geological modeling of Palanca-Impala, and offshore carbonate

field in a team environment, which led to an increase in STOOIP by 60Mbls.

Interacted & performed in a multi-cultural team in designing & implementation of

field development plan of Dinge & Punja fields, which have been taken up for

development.

Participated in technical meetings and reviewed the exploration & development

works in non-operated blocks.

2008- 2011: Operations Geology for exploratory & appraisal wells

Carried out a project on reservoir Characterization of Geleki field, a brown

field with multi-layered reservoir for identifying bypassed oil and recommended

infills and workovers for optimizing production.

Carried out Sick well analysis, identified, planned, monitored work over jobs and

revived around 20 sick / shut in wells with a gain of around 800 bopd.

Participated and presented in asset board meetings on opportunities in mature

Carried out a project on "Pre-basalt prospects of west Godavari sub basin to

understand petroleum systems and to formulate exploration strategy.

Carried out Play fairway analysis, generated leads and matured 8 of them into

drillable prospects, in Mandapeta, Mandapeta-west & Razole areas, with gas

strikes in 4 wells.

Performed regional stratigraphic analysis of Gollapalli sandstone of Cretaceous

age to understand the reservoir continuity and quality.

Analyzed & evaluated exploratory results for prioritization of drillable

1995 - 1997: Operations Geology for deep HP-HT wells

exploratory wells in a deep drilling campaign.

Coordinated with survey / civil teams and effectively planned rig movement and

avoided idling of rigs and saved rig days between movements.

reservoirs to collect quality data.

Analyzed the historical production testing operations with deep drilling rigs,

devised a standard testing procedure and saved rig time.

timely advice to drillers helped in avoiding complications like kicks & lost

holes in deep wells.

Onsite data analysis leading to identification of hydrocarbon zones and high

pressure zones helped in revision of casing points.
