i was recently employed at jack in the box but i quit on them because they had been taking half my pay with out any reason. i was working there for 1 year and previously to that i had worked at furniture warehouse, i started off just as a general labor worker but worked my tail off and the owner started noticing me, eventually gave me a opportunity as a delivery helper. I had competition on that title, he was a 34 yr old man with movers experience, but eventually i became the full-time helper on deliveries. After time i had became close to the warehouse manager and he told me he hadn't been feeling well soon after, he had to leave work for a week due to seizures he had been having. While he was gone the owner gave me a chance to become the delivery driver, he had trusted me enough to where he gave me the responsibility to organize our crates that held our furniture and gave me the hours of which the warehouse manager had before. After working there for a year i started getting a pain in my shoulder from the consent lifting and hard work and eventually went tot he hospital. turned out my shoulder had a sprain that i hadn't known about that had almost became a hair fracture in my shoulder. When i returned to work i couldn't do as much as i would before so he gave me the title Porter, he had me n the store all day reorganizing the entire store, keeping it clean at all times, helping out with customer pick ups, he gave me a project to paint entire inside of store and was completed by myself. I'm a hardworking man and i learn my duties quickly. i love to work if given the opportunity i would not fail you, you would not be let down.
