Worked with the Legal Documentation Team where ISDA Master Agreements for

OTC, CSA, Repo, Clearing and Sec Lending Trades are negotiated, processed

and managed. I am responsible for generating all MI Reports/metrics for

management on key Credit Risk, Master and Collateral Agreements data.

Data Analysis and MI Reporting

. Working closely with IT support /BI architect to design and build a

robust self-reporting MI tool, utilising data warehouse technologies

and report builder. I was responsible for gathering business

requirements, and using this requirement to produce a technical

specification requirement whilst working with both teams to manage

expectations.

. Support IT in applying improvements to the OTC derivative

documentation system in other to enhance/ improve management

information reporting within the team.

manual and repetition tasks to reduce the risk of error and improve

Operational Risk, Data Quality & Controls

. Supporting various operational risk frameworks through capturing,

analysing and the reporting of operational risk data/ losses in the

insurance industry on a quarterly basis. Some of the insurers

supported include (Aviva, HSBC, Scottish Widows AXA, RSA, Swiss Re,

Prudential)

. Acting as first point of contact for data loads, with a focus on

validating captured data and resolving any operational risk data

related issue/abnormalities whilst carrying out data quality

assessment on the loss data to ensure accuracy and completeness of the

data as part of solvency II requirements to include external loss

data.

. Analysing operational risk event data (using advanced Excel),

identifying operational risk trends in the data within the insurance

sector and producing commentary high - level business MI risk reports

for stakeholders senior management showing severity and frequency

distributions of Operational risk losses within various business

functions, providing valuable insight in other to enable risk managers

make strategic risk decisions

. Presenting risk reports and communicating identified trends at

management committee meetings along with suggested control measures

based on root cause analysis and findings. I also lead discussions on

data quality issues from source and recommending areas of improvement

from both the source and consortium.

. I successfully drove gap analysis project benchmarking the IT

infrastructure and IS risk against ISO 27001; one of my achievements

from this exercise was the design of an effective and sufficient

business continuity (data disaster and recovery) plan as part of

control/mitigating measures for the organisation utilising my database

administrative skills and experience

. Facilitating IT security risk assessment/audit undertaken by PWC,

worked alongside external auditors to identify risk exposure within IT

systems security and recommend remediation. I documented step by step

process, findings and actions needed to be taken whilst working with

. I ensured timely Implementation of new controls or existing control

enhancement as required (system upgrades and re-configuration, code

effective, through developing solutions using T-SQL in other to

minimise and mitigate the risk exposure associated with the quality of

. Led project on the implementation of new bespoke Operational Risk

system (Arc Logics) for ORIC's loss data working through the entire

measures for the success of each goal, documenting the business

requirements specification and technical specification, UAT test cases

to its release into production and post-implementation documentation.

The importance of questioning and quantifying business requirements as

vendor suppliers and our members; liaising with IT vendors through

regular meetings with senior product managers and developers and,

closely monitoring work in progress relating to development of new

system functionality or upgrades to existing system and working with

quality controls within risk capture system (Arc Logics) and

operational risk benchmarking. Most notable amongst these was the
