Worked with British Telecom Global Services (BTGS - a client of TCS) in the healthcare

domain. Details of the projects undertaken were as follows :

Personal Demographics Service Data Quality: Analyzed the data required in the front

end reports through ETL at the back end in this Data Warehouse project. Was engaged in

design of mappings and testing of the ETL section. The goal of this project was to provide

an efficient and a reliable source of demographic information of the patients in the UK

Summary Care Record (SCR) Automation: Successfully completed the automation and

testing of various functionalities of the non-business web application SCR using the

Descriptive programming of HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) software

Spine View Prescription and Dispense Service :Was actively engaged in two releases

of this project from inception. Involved in discussions with the development team to help

them better understand the requirements document. Prepared test data, test cases and

test scripts for testing team. Successfully led the team in testing the Electronic Transfer of

prescription (ETP) module

Actively involved in customer issue resolution for Nvidia's Graphics Processing Unit

(GPU).Details of the project undertaken were as follows :

Mobile support solutions for Nvidia GPU. Analyzed software issues related to Graphics

Processing Unit (GPU) and provided solutions at the system level by implementing

necessary features in the code with the resource management team.

Worked to develop effective architectures and algorithms for transcoding of video signals that

achieve high performance with computation efficiency while maintaining high picture quality,

keeping transcoding distortion to a minimum, by analyzing the existing architectures for bit-rate

reduction, spatial resolution reduction and temporal resolution reduction.

B. Tech Thesis Aug 02

Worked to develop a magnetic card access security system. It required a magnetic card to be

swiped in a card reader to have access in restricted areas. It mainly consisted of three blocks

– the card writer, the card reader and the microprocessor (8085).An 8 bit code was used which

was written on a magnetic card. Whenever the card is swiped, the 8 bit is read and passed on

to the microprocessor, which has a list of codes which has permission, and accordingly access

is granted or denied.
