respective area supervisors; with oversight of all respective UAW
employees.
Responsibilities encompassed: Safety Compliance, ensuring that all
components were ISO and TS16949 compliant, FTTQ objectives, review and
monitoring of respective metrics, customer Interface, Daily/weekly cost
and productivity requirements, maintaining respective labor levels, lead
continuous improvement teams, resolution of employee and/or labor
concerns, productivity, on-time customer delivery.
Key Accomplishments included:
Personnel: Trained and mentored inexperienced supervisors, Improved
Management/Union relations by implementing weekly meetings to resolve
pre existing issues, Performance led to promotion from Supervisor to
Superintendent.
New Product Launch: Launched S197 (Mustang) program, and J61 (Mazda)
program, and in 2009 launch these two programs on the same line with no
customer interruptions. Product relocation of the Corvette seating
program from IMA Brownstown, Michigan to IMA Louisville, Kentucky.
Product relocation of the S197/J61 Back frames, Armrest, and Bolsters
from IMA Brownstown Michigan to IMA Louisville Kentucky.
Implemented plant wide 5-S process, daily/weekly process walks and PJO's
with Engineers to eliminate waste and resolve productivity and quality
concerns, "IPPM blitz" process, trained salary and hourly personnel in
Lean Manufacturing Principles.

Supervised UAW workforce, Lead area safety initiatives, maintained daily
production standards, assured quality conformance to QS9000 standards
