ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH CONTRIBUTION

o I have three years experience during M.D in the field of Blood

Transfusion & Immunohematology.

o Now I am working as Asst.Prof.,Hind Institute of Medical

Sciences,Barabanki since 1 DEC 2012 till date

o Submitted a thesis on" A study of intrauterine transfusions in fetal

anemia due to maternal red cell alloimmunization".

o Developed SOPs for workup of alloimmunized pregnancies .

o Developed SOPs for preparation of special blood bag for intrauterine

transfusion .

o Organized a camp for alloimmunized pregnancies for clinical and

diagnostic workup including assessment for titer of antibodies.

ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE

o Actively coordinated training programmes in "Blood safety and Blood

component usage in clinical practice" under aegis of NACO, India,

conducted for clinicians from all over UP.

o Developed SOP for sampling, notification and counselling in HIV

reactive blood donors for the purpose of ICTC referral, as per the

guidelines of NACO.

o Very well trained in managing troubleshoots in day to day practice in

the work areas like Immunohematology laboratory, blood donation and

apheresis, transfusion reactions etc.

o Well trained in handling automated advanced equipments such as

Platelet apheresis machines, Da-Vinci Quattro for ELISA testing, COBAS

chemiluminescence technique, VITROS biochemistry analyzer and LYRA for

automated blood grouping

o Worked as in-charge of out door blood donation camps.

o Very well trained Foundation couse,Basic Biostatistics,Genomics in

health and disease,Genetics in clinical medicine,Introduction to

imaging sciences,Laboratory medicine,CPCR and life support .

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

o To establish molecular serology lab in the department for

platelet genotyping.

o To develop genotyping facilities for red cell ABO and Rh antigen.

o To establish platelet function assays for evaluation of

hemostasis

o To establish treatment protocol for alloimmunized pregnancy
