models of mycoses and clinical trials in prophylaxis and treatment of fungal infections.

Plan and coordinate all hands on in vivo and in vitro research, i.e. Beta Glucan tests, drug prep/dosing animal

models

and data collections, Instructor for rotating Infectious Disease Fellows as well as Lab Instructor for the Latin

American Antibiotic Resistance Workshops. Perform and oversee all unknown yeast identification and

susceptibility

research. Also maintains an accredited CLIA and CAP laboratory on a quarterly basis.
