Bank of the West is a financially strong, well-capitalized and prudently managed FDIC-insured bank that

customers have entrusted with their money for more than 130 years. It has expanded from the California

frontier to its current position as one of the top 25 commercial banks in the nation.

Web Direct is the bank’s cash management platform with 25,000 plus customers of which 1,500 have a

Commercial Loan account. The 1,500 customers have 3,500 plus accounts which consist of a combination

of the Obligor and Obligation Number.

Involved in testing the following projects from end to end.

1. AFS – Phase II: The reporting of the commercial accounts on Web Direct is currently limited to the

previous day “Current Balance” on the note. The goal of the project is to provide Web Direct

customers the additional reporting and to include payment and advance transactional capabilities of

their Commercial Loan accounts.

2. OOB (Out Of Band Authentication) :This Enhanced Layered Security Project will implement more

effective, risk-based layered security controls for Commercial Online Banking (Web Direct).In

addition, while not addressed in FFIEC(Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council)

guidelines, this project will implement enhanced security controls for mobile banking activities (a

separate work stream but with interdependencies) to address the increasing risk associated with that

rapidly growing channel

3. Check Printing: It is a service is a new payment service that will allow Web Direct customers to

enter check information in Web Direct and have the checks printed and mailed to the designated

payees.

Responsibilities:

Project Abstract

The current project involves System and Integrated testing for the card portfolio acquired from GE by

Capital one for HBC corporation. FD has created a test environment that enables us to test their changes for

HBC. The activities involve writing test cases, executing the same for the end to end testing of the

application.

This will enable HBC to perform end to end testing on the new platform enabling them to perform day to

day credit card operations which also included few customer service application (IVR, e-Customer service

web portal, FDWC- Fraud detection Work center).

Project Abstract

CLASS is an acronym for “Consolidated Loan Administration and Servicing System”. CLASS is a

mainframe system developed by Sallie Mae for the servicing of student loan accounts. The CLASS system

was created in response to the need for an automated computer system for processing, servicing, and

maintaining student loans at Sallie Mae Servicing Corporation. There are several characteristics that make

the CLASS system beneficial to the loan servicing environment.

● Immediately processes "user initiated" transactions, such as monetary adjustments.

● Examines every loan during a nightly cycle and automatically triggers appropriate activities such as status

change when a deferment expires.

● Maintains multiple loans with different statuses.

● Includes many "self-check" features such as the verification of data entry fields against on-line guarantor and

owner profiles.

● Interfaces with a telephone conversant system to respond to customer inquiries without the need for a live

representative

● Contains several on line information and reference features designed to allow access to system and servicing

information. CLASS is comprised of more than 220 screens, which follow the same format with similar

placement of borrower name, status, program, and messages. Each borrower has an account, which is

defined as a record of all information pertinent to the servicing of a borrower’s total outstanding

Enrollment Auto-Update.

Open Net is Sallie Mae's online web based loan delivery system. With Open Net, we can transfer loan data

to any lender, guarantor, or servicer who has a relationship with Sallie Mae for processing. OpenNet

integrates easily with all financial aid management systems because it supports all major communication

methods and it eliminates data encryption. Open Net is available to schools without charge.

MYL - Manage your loans is a new improved borrower self-service web site. Customers can more closely

manage their accounts with updated information and processing. MYL interacts with CLASS through AIA

(Application Interface Architecture). Basically MYL posts a Service Request (by XML) to CLASS through

AIA and CLASS responds to Service and gives data (XML) back to MYL.

Responsibilities:

● Recorded and plays back test in Fire fox using Selenium IDE.

● Created Automation test framework using Selenium.

● Exported Test case Scripts (Java-Selenium RC) in Eclipse IDE and modified the selenium scripts and

executed. Prepared automation test framework.

● Tests developed in Eclipse to start and to stop the selenium server and to execute the tests in browser.

the Aetna. We have five Different applications through which a subscriber can be enrolled. Testing is carried

out by running these applications with different types of requirements customized to Business Requests. The

Data stored here is very critical because any defect here is going to affect all other downstream applications

like Billing, Fulfillment products etc.
