SEMINAR: A SIMO Parallel String Driver IC for Dimmable LED Backlighting

This paper proposes the control scheme for LED backlighting with Single Inductor Multiple Output topology along with local bus voltage optimization and single time shared regulation loop.

PROJECT: 10*10*10 LED Cube with PIC Controller

This project deals with displaying of different patterns three dimensionally with minimum power consumption. This cube consists of 1000 LEDs. The technique behind the displaying of this cube is persistence of vision.

• Currently working as OPERATOR at 110 kV substation, Pala under Kerala State Electricity Board. Dealing with 110/66 kV, 110/33 kV and 66/11 kV systems.

• Completed 6 months APPRENTICESHIP at 110 kV Substation, Pala under Kerala State Electricity Board and gained experience in the operation and maintenance of the EHV substation equipments such as 110/66kV, 110/33 kV, 66/11kV, 40MVA, 16MVA, 10MVA Power Transformers, 110 kV SF6 Circuit Breakers, MOCB, OLTC, CT, PT, 11kV Vacuum Circuit Breakers and 110kV, 66 kV, 33kV, 11 kV Panel Board Operations, battery systems etc.

• Attended a One Day Training Programme at 400kV KSEB Substation at Madakkathara, Thrissur.

• Attended a Two Day Training Programme at 220kV KSEB Substation at Povanthuruthu, Kottayam.
