IT Project Manager

Support SAP-HR Payroll and Benefits applications.

• Led BA, Development and QA teams using PMO methodology for data migration

and the implementation of interfaces between SAP 6.0 and SAP 5.0 systems.

• Managed resource budget of $1.8 million using OPEX/CAPEX model. Project was

on budget and met stakeholder expectations.

• Coordinated efforts of Development and QA using a matrix onshore/offshore model

to deliver a working product under tight deadlines

• Built strong relationships with business stakeholders as a means to ensure correct

scope definition and proper change control for each project.

• Mitigated project risk through critical path using MS project while tackled issues

Support Downstream Server Centralization

vendors to the implementation and conversion of existing legacy interfaces to SAP.

Provided leadership to multiple Development and QA teams and coordinated the efforts of 20

members with a 30/70 onshore/offshore ratio through numerous client enhancement releases

including but not limited to data management, software modernization, questionnaires and field

interviews.

• Reworked defect tracking process to improve its cost effectiveness. Reduced software

incidents reported by 75%, eventually leading a couple releases to zero defects across

the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Reworked software delivery schedule to reduce resource costs by $200,000 per year.

• Re-Organized the functions of an IT support team, setting up configuration

management, automation of sample loading, deployment methods, change control and

communication processes during the transition from Noble to SPSS.

• Utilized MS Project to create project plans and effective organized documentation on

Sharepoint, simultaneously led three different teams using an onshore / offshore model

towards ten successful medium sized software releases in 2009.
