• Helped turn around Level 8, a publicly traded enterprise software company, by establishing alliances (Oracle,

Microsoft, SAP, Kurt Salmon, Cap Gemini) and sales channels to support new product introductions and expansion into

EMEA, Asia, and India as well as regions within the U.S. Played key role in company acquisition of intellectual

property to increase share value and facilitate recapitalization. Assisted in the privatization and due diligence of the

company.

• Oversaw Big Idea Group client Gillette’s Innovation Challenge 2005; assisted company business units

worldwide in commercializing product innovations and opening up UK and Northern European markets.

• Led $5 million Series A round for NEC spin-off SmartCatch, an airport security software company.

Performed market prospect assessment of a bioinformatics technology spin-off of NEC. Raising $5 million in capital

for management buyout of an enterprise software company; leading first rounds of financing for three emerging

technology companies in the homeland defense and biotech sectors.

• Conducted market research and due diligence on new technologies developed by Stax, Inc. on behalf of

private equity firms for buy- and sell-side transactions.

• Played key role repositioning FullScope (Montreal, QC) as the premier Microsoft ERP reseller in the Product

Lifecycle space. Formulated market-entry plans and public relations initiatives that opened up new channels throughout

the US, Mexico and UK, resulting in the company exceeding its sales objectives, growing 120% in revenue.

VICE PRESIDENT – CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT, 2000 – 2002

CatalystOne, Inc., Boston, MA / Oslo, Norway / London, UK

• Implemented business plan that was pivotal in generating 500% revenue growth globally for 2000-2002; the

market specific subsidiary accounted for 230% of the worldwide group’s annual revenue goal. Raised $15 million in

venture capital in the US and Europe; identified and performed due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
