Metallurgical Engineering

* Extensive experience designing, building and operating liquid-liquid solvent extraction circuits.

* Extensive experience building and operating pilot plants.

* Experience designing pilot plants.

* Experience with communition.

* Experience operating and fixing filtration units, pumps and thickners.

* Experience acid leaching on both bench and pilot plant scale.

* Experience operating tube furnaces of varying capacities.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Metallurgist E.I.T.-Process Research ORTECH (PRO), Mississauga, Ontario (2012- Present)

* Involves using company patents and interpreting experimental data from bench scale tests to design and operate on the pilot plant scale using solvent extraction.

* Responsible for supervising and training students on how to operate safely within the plant.

* Often required to perform bench scale leaching, roasting and shakeout tests.

* Often involved in the entire aspect of a process including communition, waste treatment and decommissioning of the plant.
